The RN in this role is responsible for delivering compassionate, holistic, and value-driven care to patients and their families. The nurse acts as a patient advocate and uses confident communication skills to coordinate care. Responsibilities include:
- Performing comprehensive assessments (physical, psychosocial, spiritual)
- Developing and implementing a multi-disciplinary care plan
- Evaluating patient responses and adjusting care accordingly
Education: Graduate of an Accredited School of Nursing, BSN preferred.
Related Years of Experience Required: One year of acute care experience preferred although work experience requirements allow for individual manager/director flexibility recognizing such factors as: work experience in the medical field prior to attaining RN license (i.e. CNA), the experience level of current unit staff, and interest, motivation and commitment of applicant.
Credential/Licensure Required: Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State of Wisconsin; Current BLS and ACLS certification within 6 months of employment.
Shift: Causal Call, meaning you would work as needed. Department hours: Monday-Friday, with variable weekend coverage as needed.
