Description:

Responsibilities:

• Assist engineers with pile testing
  instrumentation setup.
  
• Perform field monitoring during pile
  driving operations.
  
• Install and operate Pile Driving
  Analyzer (PDA) instrumentation.
  
• Conduct integrity testing including:
  
• Crosshole Sonic Logging
  (CSL)
  
• Thermal Integrity Profiling
  (TIP)
  
• Pile Integrity Testing
  (PIT)
  
• Attach instrumentation for static load
  tests and bi-directional load tests.
  
• Field documentation
  
• Adhere to strict safety standards
  

Skills/Requirements:

• High school diploma / GED or 2 years of
  Construction Field Experience. College coursework in engineering is a plus.
  
• Fluent in English (written and spoken)
  required.
  
• Interest or experience in deep
  foundation testing/construction.
  
• Ability to work in outdoor
  construction environments 80 – 90% of the time.
  
• Willingness to travel frequently to construction
  sites across the U.S. and sometimes offshore and work independently.
  
• Ability to lift, carry, and handle up
  to 50 lbs as part of normal job duties.
  
• Valid Driver's License with a safe
  driving record.
  
• Good written and verbal communications
  skills.
  
• FDOT experience preferred.
