Description:
Responsibilities:
- Assist engineers with pile testing
instrumentation setup. - Perform field monitoring during pile
driving operations. - Install and operate Pile Driving
Analyzer (PDA) instrumentation. - Conduct integrity testing including:
- Crosshole Sonic Logging
(CSL) - Thermal Integrity Profiling
(TIP) - Pile Integrity Testing
(PIT) - Attach instrumentation for static load
tests and bi-directional load tests. - Field documentation
- Adhere to strict safety standards
Skills/Requirements:
- High school diploma / GED or 2 years of
Construction Field Experience. College coursework in engineering is a plus. - Fluent in English (written and spoken)
required. - Interest or experience in deep
foundation testing/construction. - Ability to work in outdoor
construction environments 80 – 90% of the time. - Willingness to travel frequently to construction
sites across the U.S. and sometimes offshore and work independently. - Ability to lift, carry, and handle up
to 50 lbs as part of normal job duties. - Valid Driver's License with a safe
driving record. - Good written and verbal communications
skills. - FDOT experience preferred.
