Our Role

We are currently recruiting for a full-time permanent Quarry Operator for our Attunga Limestone Plant, located 15 minutes’ drive north of Tamworth.  Reporting to the Mine Superintendent you will be involved in a wide range of activities around the extraction and production of quality lime

 

This position will require you to:

  • Operate fixed plant such as crushing and screening.
  • Operate mobile plant for the purposes of Load and haul, mobile crushing and rehabilitation.
  • Complete basic maintenance and housekeeping.
  • Collect samples for quality assurance.
  • Conduct manual handling and housekeeping activities 
  •  

The successful candidate will:

  • be a flexible team player who likes to self-sufficiently deliver high performance, enjoys teamwork and has a willingness to learn and positively apply their skills.
  • have experience operating front end loaders, dump trucks, excavators, crushers, mills, forklifts, water carts, preferably in mining/quarrying roles.
  • be computer literate.
  • be flexible to work early mornings, days, evenings and weekends as required.
  • agree to undergo a pre-employment medical and drug and alcohol test.
