Description
Chase Memorial is seeking a motivated and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to join our team on a part-time basis. The PTA will work under the direction and supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to provide high-quality patient care, support rehabilitation programs, and help patients achieve their functional goals.
Key Responsibilities:
Implement treatment plans established by the supervising Physical Therapist
Provide therapeutic exercises, manual therapy techniques, and modalities as appropriate
Monitor patient progress and report changes to the Physical Therapist
Educate patients and caregivers on exercises and home care programs
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards
Ensure a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment
Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare team members
Qualifications:
Associate degree from an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
Current state licensure as a PTA
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Previous Long-Term Care experience preferred, but not required
