Caxton Associates’ primary business is to manage client and proprietary capital through global macro hedge fund strategies.  As part of our continued growth, we are establishing a new office in Bangalore, India. This office will play a critical role in supporting our trading, research, and operations globally. 

About the role:
We are seeking Full Stack Developers (C# .NET) to join the Software Development team. This team is responsible for building and maintaining applications supporting a wide range of users across Middle Office, Product Control, Finance, Compliance and Front Office. You will evaluate and use the latest .NET, Python, SQL and open-source technologies to deliver, maintain and enhance new and existing applications. You will work closely with users across London, Singapore and New York. 

Responsibilities:

As a Senior C# .NET developer in the Software Development team, you will be expected to 

  • Write and maintain programs/scripts in both C# & Python and data analysis using SQL 
  • Play a key role in the architecture and design of mission-critical trading systems. 
  • Evaluate and adopt modern .NET and open-source technologies to continuously improve platform reliability and scalability. 
  • Build, optimize, and maintain multi-threaded services and real-time order entry applications. 
  • Ensure code quality through TDD, automated testing, and CI/CD practices. 
  • Mentor and guide junior developers in best practices, design patterns, and performance optimization.
