Job Summary
The Assistant Manager - Sales will support the sales team in achieving revenue targets and expanding market share for Master Builders Solutions' innovative construction chemicals and solutions. This role involves assisting with key account management, sales strategy implementation, and fostering strong customer relationships.
Job Responsibilities
* Support the Regional Sales Manager in developing and executing sales plans to meet and exceed revenue and profitability goals.
* Assist in managing and nurturing relationships with key clients, including contractors, distributors, and specifiers.
* Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities, competitive landscapes, and emerging market trends.
* Prepare sales proposals, presentations, and quotations in response to customer inquiries and project requirements.
* Collaborate with technical and marketing teams to ensure effective product positioning and customer support.
* Monitor sales performance against targets, analyze sales data, and prepare regular reports for management.
* Participate in sales meetings, product trainings, and industry events to enhance product knowledge and networking.
* Provide excellent customer service, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction.
* Assist in training and mentoring junior sales staff, sharing best practices and product knowledge.
* Ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures, and ethical standards.
Job Qualifications
* Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, or a related field.
* 2-4 years of experience in sales, preferably within the construction materials, chemicals, or related industry.
* Proven track record of supporting sales efforts and contributing to revenue growth.
* Strong understanding of sales principles, customer relationship management, and market dynamics.
* Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and CRM software (e.g., Salesforce).
* Valid driver's license and willingness to travel as required.
