We are currently recruiting for General Manager of Tenes Lilmiyah SPA to join our team and contribute to key projects in a dynamic and collaborative environment.

Responsibilities


  • Manage an
    operating water desalination plant with a capacity of 200,000 m³/day.
  • Responsible
    for the P&L, ensuring optimization of plant availability, water
    production, revenues, dividends, and cash flow generation.
  • Represent
    the company in front of Algerian public institutions and foreign private
    shareholders, maintaining strong relationships with banks, clients,
    suppliers, operators, and buyers.
  • Act as the
    main liaison between investors, off-takers, and Algerian authorities,
    including ADE, Sonatrach, and AEC.
  • Identify
    and capture improvement opportunities and cost savings with the support of
    corporate functions.
  • Oversee
    compliance with concession agreements, financial covenants, and regulatory
    requirements.
  • Supervise
    administrative and financial processes, and ongoing performance
    monitoring.
  • Ensure
    alignment of local operations with Atlantica’s corporate policies and
    international standards.



Education


  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Engineering, Economics, Finance, or Business Administration.


Personal Skills


  • Proven
    leadership capabilities in managing concessionary companies and acting as
    shareholder representative.
  • Excellent
    stakeholder management skills, with the ability to build trustful
    relationships with government institutions, banks, and private investors.
  • Strong
    initiative, problem-solving skills, and capacity to work under pressure in
    a complex regulatory and multicultural environment.
  • Proactive
    and autonomous, with a focus on delivering results and maximizing
    long-term value.
  • Fluent in
    French and English; knowledge of Arabic and/or Spanish are a plus.Willingness
    to travel frequently within Algeria and abroad.

Experience & Technical Qualifications


  • Around 10
    years of experience in the water infrastructure sector, ideally within
    concession models or regulated environments.
  • Hands-on
    experience in asset management of large-scale infrastructure, with
    emphasis on optimization of production and availability.
  • In-depth
    knowledge of Algerian administrative and regulatory frameworks in the
    water and energy sector.
