The Product Development Project Coordinator works with the team to develop new products and processes, to help increase sales and profitability of the business while driving sustainable growth. This role is responsible for the successful launch of innovative products within the portfolio of Nite Ize product categories.
The position for Project Coordinator is expected to be open until June 1, 2026.
Key Responsibilities for Project Coordinator :
- Responsible for the successful management of product development projects including project tracking, communications, timeline monitoring, maintenance of documentation, costing, etc.
- Creates continuous communication between internal departments and supply teams to create and maintain a sense of cohesiveness and information sharing for successful product launches, including timeline visibility, project status updates, status reports, project database management, etc.
- Contributes to project update meetings with cross-departmental teams. Assists Development team through meeting coordination, note taking, relaying of meeting minutes.
- Works in conjunction with Product Manager to ensure information is shared appropriately to allow for product and vendor setup. Provides Operations and Finance with price, part numbers, MOQ/quantity, lead time for new products.
- Provides administrative assistance to Product Development team through expense reconciliation, managing R&D samples, securing collateral for pre-launch sales meetings, and providing travel planning assistance.
- Communicates with factory contacts regarding projects, product changes and timelines.
- Creates and manages product margin sheets for cost evaluation and approval.
- Assists other team members with projects outside of products, including, but not limited to, displays, programs, processes, and team activities.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree (B.A.) - engineering, project management, or marketing preferred
1-3 years related experience as individual contributor in project coordination or management, product design and development, and/or similar.
Engineering degree and/or knowledge a plus.
Experience in reading technical drawings and Bill of Materials (BOMs) is preferred.
Possess strong planning skills as well as analytical, problem solving, strategic thinking, and management of projects.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint required. Knowledge of SmartSheet or other project tracking software, preferred.
Ability to cultivate relationships, both internal and external. Excellent communication and people skills.
Must be self-motivated and able to exhibit out-of-the-box thinking to formulate new and creative ways of doing things; challenge assumptions, be comfortable with uncertainty, and have a future-oriented focus.
Must exhibit a high degree of flexibility, maintain a solution-driven focus in challenging situations, adapt quickly to the ever-changing business requirements, and be able to thrive amidst chaos.
Occasional weekend or evening work may be required to work with factories or vendors overseas or in different time zones. May need to travel outside of the US, therefore, must have, or be able to obtain, a US passport and travel overseas (<5% travel annually).
Must be able to read, write, and speak English.

Work Hours: Hybrid schedule with on-site and work from home days, after the initial on-site training period. This is a regular, benefits-eligible position.
Hiring Compensation for Project Coordinator: Hiring pay range: $60,000 to $70,000 annual base salary, DOQ.
