MAJOR RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Program & graphic creation for mechanical / control systems
o Point to point on all control systems
o Startup control systems
o Basic Troubleshooting
o Field documentation (As-built drawings, checkout sheets, screens, etc.)
o Manage time to complete assignments according to schedule and within budget
o Consistent and clear communication with internal and external customers
o Ensure completeness of work performed
o Adhere to Syserco’s Policies and Procedures, HR, Safety Plan and others
SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
o Proficiency in Alerton, Delta, Siemens, or Tridium
o Computer hardware and software skills
o Knowledge of HVAC DDC controls theory and applications
o Ability to work independently and unsupervised
o Excellent verbal and written communication skills
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
o Operation of standard office equipment including utilizing pertinent software applications and computer equipment for extended periods of time.
o Moderate to heavy physical activity performing essential job site work. May be required to sit, stand, bend, climb and lift, push or carry items less than 50 lbs. around office and job sites.
o Valid IL drivers’ license with ability to drive and operate a vehicle.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
o AA Degree in Applied Technology or equivalent combination of work experience and education
o HVAC and/or mechanical systems knowledge
o Experience with electronics and basic electrical circuits
o Computer programming experience
o Mechanical and electrical systems troubleshooting experience
Summary
Performing point to point verification, zone startup, download software and graphic modifications based on Syserco’s proposal, project plans, specifications, and other contract documents. Ensuring documentation is accurate, complete, and timely.
