What You'll Be Doing

  • Safely operate an excavator during night shift quarry operations to support material production

  • Load, move, and stockpile raw materials to maintain efficient workflow

  • Perform routine equipment inspections and promptly report any issues

  • Follow site safety procedures and traffic patterns to protect people and equipment

  • Collaborate with plant and quarry team members to meet nightly production goals

  • Demonstrated capability to operate excavator equipment safely and efficiently

  • Ability to work independently and remain alert during night shift hours

  • Dependable, team-oriented approach to meeting production objectives

  • Physical capability and coordination to perform essential job functions

Physical Demands of the Job

  • Ability to sit for extended periods while operating heavy equipment

  • Ability to climb on and off equipment using ladders and steps

  • Ability to use hands and feet for repetitive motions, controls, and fine motor coordination

  • Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull items typically weighing up to 50 pounds with or without assistance

  • Ability to visually assess surroundings and hear warning signals or communications

Conditions of Employment

  • Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check,

Work Environment

  • Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level.
