Job Title: Janitorial Associate
Job Summary: The Janitorial Associate is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of park buildings, food service areas, restrooms, and midways. This role ensures a safe, clean, and welcoming environment for guests and team members by performing routine custodial duties, minor maintenance tasks, and supporting overall facility operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Perform custodial duties while maintaining high standards of cleanliness, safety, and efficiency.
- Clean and sanitize restrooms using proper chemicals, equipment, and procedures.
- Sweep, mop (wet and dry), wax, and maintain floors in buildings and food service areas.
- Vacuum and maintain carpeting.
- Wash windows, furniture, and other fixtures.
- Remove trash, paper, and debris from buildings and park grounds.
- Mop and maintain food locations to ensure sanitary conditions.
- Move furniture; set up, fold, and store tables and chairs as needed.
- Lock and unlock doors; monitor building and ground security.
- Activate and deactivate alarm systems as required.
- Load and unload delivery trucks when needed.
- Maintain positive and professional interactions with guests, vendors, clients, and employees.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED (preferred).
- Previous janitorial, custodial, or cleaning experience (preferred).
- Customer service experience (preferred).
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness.
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry up to 25 lbs.
- Frequent bending, stooping, reaching, and repetitive motions.
- Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying conditions.
