Rocky Vista High School, 27J School opening Fall of 2027 in Commerce City, CO, is seeking an Assistant Principal who will assist in the direction and management of the instructional programs and provide support for the educational process.  This position will also be responsible for all athletic programs at the school.  This is a full time, or 1.0 FTE, position, with benefits.

Required Qualifications:

1. A valid Colorado Department of Education Principal License.
2. The ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.
3. The ability to facilite and coach a high-functioning team.
4. The ability to define roles and share responsibility to move the school vision forward.
5. The ability to seek out and engage the perspective of others.
6. The emotional intelligence to understand others' needs and provide support.
7. The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).  
8. A belief in empowering all children as owners of their learning.
