Location: 1220 E Mason St, Green Bay, WI 54301

FTE Status:  1.00 FTE (40 hours/week)

Work Schedule: 7:00am -3:30 pm, Monday - Friday, no weekends or holidays

Job Description: 

Department resource to ensure coding quality through reviews for compliant and appropriate assignment of ICD-10 and HCPCS coding. Conducts chart reviews and provides feedback to the Intake Team. Is a clinical documentation resource to Providers and coding staff, gives information on coding guidelines, prepares and analyzes reports on coding, billing, case mix, and other clinical information.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Medical Technology, Health Information Technology, or Health Care related degree

preferred.

Experience: Minimum three to five years of experience in day-to-day operations in Home Medical or Medical Clinic setting with expertise in ICD-10, HCPCS coding, and billing practices, and demonstrating knowledge of disease process, anatomy, medical terminology and related home medical equipment required. Experience conducting coding audits, problem solving and effectively communicating the results to stakeholders, and complex data analysis and the use of software and other tools to interpret and explain results required.
