Prophix helps finance teams improve accuracy and performance through Prophix One™, our Financial Performance Platform. We bring planning, reporting, and automation together so people can focus on meaningful work instead of repetitive tasks. As we expand our AI-enabled capabilities, you will join a team where intelligent tools support better outcomes and people guide each decision with clarity and purpose.
We have teams and offices across the UK, Europe, North America, and Australia.
As a Data Integration Engineer, you will contribute to connecting clients’ ERP and financial systems with Prophix to unlock the full potential of their data. Working closely with Professional Services and cross-functional teams, you will help design, build, and maintain integration solutions that automate the retrieval, transformation, and delivery of financial data.
This is a permanent, full-time position, open to candidates based in Lisbon or Brussels (hybrid) or fully remote within the respective country.
This is a hands-on technical role focused on API integrations, SQL-based data processing, cloud-hosted environments, and financial data workflows. You will primarily work on well-defined integration tasks, gradually building toward more complex problem-solving and solution design. You will also gain practical experience working with ERP systems, secure data pipelines, and scalable integration architecture while being supported by experienced team members through mentorship and collaboration.

- Integration Development: Build and support integrations between client ERP/accounting systems (e.g., NetSuite, Sage Intacct, D365, SAP, SunSystems) and Prophix.
- API Integration: Develop and enhance REST and SOAP API connections using JavaScript-based scripting.
- Data Processing & ETL: Write SQL queries to transform, validate, and stage financial data in relational databases (MySQL/PostgreSQL).
- Cloud & File Integrations: Support secure SFTP workflows and cloud storage integrations (AWS/Azure).
- Troubleshooting & Optimization: Investigate integration issues, reconcile data discrepancies, and improve reliability and performance.
- Collaboration & Documentation: Document integration logic and contribute to improving internal best practices.
