Description

Sycamore Services is seeking a Bus Driver to make a difference in other's lives and your own by providing transportation to promote community involvement and a sense of independence for individuals with disabilities.

Transport individuals as assigned, providing assistance as necessary. At all times, ensure the safe operation of the vehicle, including safe boarding and unloading of passengers. Drivers must have the ability to complete daily pre-trip inspection and accurately complete service logs. Good driving record, valid driver's license and ability to obtain a For Hire Endorsement on your license required.

The Bus Driver will transport individuals, while driving a 14 passenger bus with lift and wheelchair accessibility, within Vanderburgh county.

Requirements

• 21 years of age or older
• Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to obtain a public passenger chauffeur's license
• Must have phone accessibility
• Ability to keep accurate documentation
• Must have clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

• Knowledge of developmental disabilities 

Physical Demands

• Ability to lift a minimum of 35 pounds; upper body leverage strength required
• Bending, standing, and sitting for long periods of time
