Job Description

The HR Administrator will perform administrative functions in support a specific department. The Administrator should be highly competent in administrative functions and have prior experience in a similar position.

Essential Functions:

  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the HR department
  • Assist with onboarding and new hire documentation, including preparing employee files and ensuring completion of required forms
  • Maintain and update employee records in HR systems, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality
  • Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, changes, and employee inquiries
  • Coordinate interviews, meetings, and HR-related communications
  • Create, edit, and distribute HR correspondence and documentation
  • Assist with compliance tracking and recordkeeping for audits and reporting requirements
  • Organize and maintain both electronic and hardcopy personnel files
  • Support HR projects and initiatives as needed

Required Qualifications

  • Minimum of two (2) years of experience in an administrative support role; construction or engineering industries preferred
  • Exceptional communication skills, people management, and editing/proofreading abilities
  • Proficient in use of Adobe Acrobat and Microsoft Office suite of products; Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to apply business math and work with basic mathematical concepts
  • Must be very well organized and detail oriented
