Wired Technology Partners sells managed IT services and related products to K-12 school districts. The Sales Executive owns new partner growth for Wired Intuition Managed Services. The role runs a full sales cycle, from outbound outreach through close. The role also coordinates quoting, proposals, and handoff to delivery teams.

Key Responsibilities
New Partner Acquisition
- Prospect, qualify, and close new K–12 school district partners for Intuition Managed Services
- Execute outbound sales activities (email, phone, social, events, referrals) to generate new opportunities
- Manage the full sales cycle: discovery, needs analysis, solution positioning, proposal, negotiation, and close
- Maintain a healthy pipeline and consistently meet or exceed activity, meeting, and revenue targets
Solutions, Product Stack, and Proposals
- Maintain working knowledge of Wired service offerings and product stack
- Translate district needs into service and product requirements
- Work with operations and procurement to select vendors and suppliers
- Compare pricing and lead times to deliver the best value for districts
- Build quotes and proposals using the proposal tool
- Coordinate internal reviews so proposals match delivery scope and timelines
Account Intelligence and Renewals
- Maintain current understanding of each prospect’s environment and constraints
- Track market trends, competitor moves, and district strategies
- Identify renewals for products and software tied to new partner wins
- Create expansion opportunities when the district's needs align with Wired
Process, Reporting, and Collaboration
- Track activity, opportunities, notes, and forecasts in ConnectWise PSA
- Monitor commitments made during sales, then support a clean handoff to delivery
- Share objection trends and messaging feedback with the Director of Partner Development
- Partner with marketing on campaigns, events, and lead follow-up
- Contribute to sales playbooks and onboarding for new Partner Development hires
Territory & Account Focus
- Focus on new K–12 school districts that are not currently managed services partners
- Understand the K–12 buying process, budget cycles, and decision-making structures
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders (superintendents, principals, technology directors, procurement, etc.)
Qualifications
- High independence and strong ownership of results
- 2–5+ years of experience in a quota-carrying sales role (inside or outside), ideally in technology, services, or education solutions
- Demonstrated success in new business development/hunting roles
- Experience selling into K–12 or similar public-sector environments OR strong aptitude and willingness to learn the K–12 space quickly
- Strong prospecting skills and comfort with outbound selling
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills
- Driven, self-motivated, and comfortable operating with clear targets and a high-commission structure
Success Metrics
- New K–12 district partners acquired
- New recurring revenue (MRR/ARR) from Intuition Managed Services
- Revenue from associated products and installation services in new accounts
- Weekly activity targets, first meetings set, opportunities created
- Pipeline coverage and forecast accuracy for the assigned territory
