Job Summary

With a patient centered culture, the Housekeeper will provide a positive experience to patients, customers, and our community through cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital to provide a safe, aseptic and attractive environment.

Responsibilities

Possesses sufficient job skills and knowledge to perform the job in a competent manner. Is able to demonstrate skills and knowledge in day-to-day situations.

Adheres to and follows the policies and procedures set forth by the hospital and the EVS department.

Produces an amount of work that meets or exceeds job expectations. Makes sure that quality does not suffer as the quantity of work increases. Works effectively with peers and carries own share of team workload.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

Heavy WorkExerting up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently and/or in excess of 20 lbs. of force constantly.

Previous housekeeping or custodian experience preferred.

Education 

• High School Diploma or GED
