Job Purpose

Collaborate with the providers and multidisciplinary team to deliver appropriate patient care. Assist with the coordination of the RHC Nurse Practitioner’s daily activities.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Healthcare technology experience preferred.
• Ability to perform basic medical assistant needs. 

Job Duties

• Perform vitals.
• Perform screening(s) per Provider(s) request.
• Inform Provider when person(s) served are ready and escort them to designated area(s).
• Answer phone calls/voicemails/emails.
• Handle requests for records/discharge summaries as requested by Provider(s).
• Assure the clinic operates within the constraints of the clinic’s Rural Health Clinic (RHC) certification standards and strategic plan related to clinical care. 
• Adherence to all applicable evidence-based practice models. 
• Orally communicate information effectively and accurately. 
• Assure program operates within the constraints of the agency’s certification (CARF, DMH) standards and strategic plan related to clinical care. 
• Abide by program and agency policies and procedures.
• Other job duties and special projects as assigned.
