The Maintenance Tech is responsible for making sure production and facility equipment run smoothly. While routine maintenance is done by production operators and personnel, the Maintenance Technician is be responsible for certain levels of preventative maintenance generally above and beyond their capabilities. 

 

What You’ll Do:

 

  • Maintains production equipment
  • Performs CNC Repairs, including corrective and preventative maintenance
  • Maintain various aspects of the facility as needed
  • Assist with maintenance of vacuum furnaces
  • Document completed work
  • Interface with equipment vendors to schedule repairs / order replacement parts
  • You may be asked to stay late, come in after hours or on a weekend to get a piece of equipment back into production
  • Travel to local shops to get items needed for repairs
  • Possess basic hand and power tool knowledge

 

What You’ll Need:

 

  • High School Diploma or GED
  • Experience with an ERP systems preferred
  • Prior experience with CNC maintenance required
  • Two years maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment including minor electrical, plumbing, hydraulics and pneumatics
  • Ability to apply the necessary precautions to safety hazards associated with the area of assignment
  • Ability to communicate effectively with others in English, both written and verbal
  • Ability to learn and apply safety precautions and practices
  • Perform all functions listed above to an acceptable level without constant direct supervision and to be self-motivated
