Description

Job Summary: To work as part of the Front End Team to cashier, clean, assist customers, assist Grocery and Owner Services to ensure that customers are offered pleasant and friendly service.

• Cashier for our shoppers in accordance with policies, procedures and guidelines detailed in the Front End Department Manual.
• Working cleaning shifts as assigned.
• Work parking lot or bagging shift as assigned.
• Perform stocking tasks as needed.
• Perform fronting and cleaning tasks as needed.
• Perform recycling duties as needed.
• Work 10 hour shifts if assigned.
• Work as alternate at the information desk if assigned.
• Assist with Owner Services' clerical work if assigned.
• Be scheduled for call-in commitments as needed.

Customer Experience:

• Greet and interact with customers in a friendly way that shows you appreciate their patronage.
• Ensure that customers are attended to with a high level of service and professionalism.
• Offer help without being asked and be alert to the customer's needs.
• Be familiar with Co-op policies and products in order to answer customer questions in a prompt and courteous manner, referring them to other staff when necessary.
• Communicate customer feedback and any other important information to buyers or managers as appropriate.

Requirements

• Lift and/or move up to 40 pounds frequently, with 50 pound lifting occasionally.
• Stand and walk for entire shift.
• Walk, climb, balance and stoop.
