The Student Advisory Council Delegate (SAC) serves as a vital bridge between the student body and college leadership. SAC members ensure that student voices, ideas, and concerns are heard and represented in institutional decision-making.

As an SAC Member, you will collaborate with fellow student leaders and the Student Engagement Coordinator to enhance the overall student experience. This is a unique opportunity to develop leadership skills, build connections across campus, and make a meaningful impact at UCC.

Position Duties

  • Serve as a liaison between UCC students and college leadership 
  • Gather and communicate student feedback on academic programs, campus facilities, student services, and co-curricular activities
  • Promote student engagement and participation in campus initiatives 
  • Participate in hiring panels for SAC members and other student leadership roles, as needed
  • Build and maintain positive working relationships with students, council members, and UCC staff
  • Serve on college committees and task forces, as assigned
  • Support the SAC President in council initiatives and responsibilities 
  • Engage with the broader student body to gather input and perspectives
  • Assist in recruiting and engaging Members-at-Large
  • Demonstrate leadership and accountability as a representative of the student body.
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

  • Current full-time UCC student
  • No active disciplinary record
  • In good financial standing with the college
  • Familiarity with student services, campus resources, and student life
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 2.0 or higher preferred
