The occupational therapy assistant shall be responsible for providing, under the direct supervision of an occupational therapist, therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment consistent with the position’s qualifications, professional practices and ethical standards. This person shall also demonstrate accountability for and contribution to program development, quality improvement, problem solving and productivity enhancement in a flexible interdisciplinary fashion.
Must be a graduate of an AOTA approved associates degree program and shall meet the practice requirements of the appropriate state.
