We are looking for a detail‑oriented and
Essential Functions
analytical Financial Analyst to support the finance function through high‑quality management
reporting, financial analysis, and balance sheet governance. This role plays a
key part in providing timely and accurate financial insights to support
business decision‑making,
ensuring the integrity of financial data, and partnering with stakeholders on
projects and commercial initiatives.
The ideal candidate is hands‑on, commercially
minded, and comfortable working with both financial data and business teams in
a fast‑paced
environment.
• Management Reporting & Financial Analysis:
o Prepare monthly management reports, including variance analysis against budget, forecast, and prior periods.
o Analyze financial performance, identify key drivers, risks, and opportunities, and provide clear insights to management.
o Support budgeting, forecasting, and ad-hoc analytics requirements.
• Balance Sheet & Key Account Reconciliations:
o Perform timely and accurate balance sheet reconciliations, ensuring completeness and accuracy of key accounts.
o Investigate and resolve reconciling items and follow up on aged or unusual balances.
o Support month‑end, quarter‑end, and year‑end close activities in line with reporting timelines.
o Collaborate with intercompany within the Group, ensuring minimum discrepancies with high visibilities on transactions & balances.
• Project & Commercial Support:
o Provide financial support for projects, including business cases, investment appraisals, and post‑implementation reviews.
o Partner with commercial and operational teams to support pricing, margin analysis, and cost control initiatives.
o Support ad‑hoc financial analysis requests from management and business stakeholders
• Controls, Processes & Continuous Improvement:
o Support the maintenance of strong financial controls and compliance with company policies and accounting standards.
o Identify opportunities to improve reporting processes, reconciliations, and analytical tools.
o Assist with internal and external audit requests as required
• Other tasks as required.
