Description

Key Duties/Responsibilities

This position is responsible for performing general maintenance and repairs for assigned equipment and facilities including lubing equipment, basic plumbing, basic electrical, refrigeration preventative maintenance, and other building systems.

• Manage maintenance parts, tools, and MRO inventory
• Receive, label, stock, and organize parts in the storeroom
• Track usage, returns, and reorder levels
• Source parts and obtain vendor quotes for best price and delivery
• Create purchase orders and follow up on shipments
• Work closely with technicians and the Maintenance Manager to forecast upcoming needs
• Perform cycle counts and keep inventory accurate
• Maintain vendor records, warranties, and purchasing documentation
• Keep the maintenance shop clean, safe, and organized
• Orders supplies and materials needed for repairs and maintenance
• Performs other related duties as assigned

Requirements

Required Skills/Abilities

• Ability to follow instructions from supervisors or maintenance workers
• Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment
• Comfortable using Excel and inventory/CMMS systems
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Self-starter who works well with minimal supervision and supports the team

Education and Experience

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• At least 2-years related experience required
• Manufacturing or warehouse experience preferred
• Knowledge of MRO parts and equipment is a plus

Physical Requirements

• Prolonged periods standing and walking
• Must be physically able to move throughout shop and plant areas
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at a time
• Working in 30 to 50-degree Fahrenheit environment
