Description

The Putaway Associate plays a critical role in the daily operations of the warehouse by efficiently and accurately placing inbound inventory into designated storage locations. This role supports the flow of operations and inventory accuracy by ensuring items are organized and stored correctly, enabling timely order picking and overall warehouse efficiency.


Schedule: Friday-Sunday 5:00 am - 5:30 pm


Key Responsibilities:

Receive and scan inbound items using a handheld scanner.

Transport products from staging areas to appropriate storage locations within the warehouse.

Ensure all items are stored neatly, securely, and in accordance with safety protocols.

Accurately update inventory records and report discrepancies or damaged goods to a supervisor.

Provide support to other warehouse departments and teams as required.

Follow company procedures and safety guidelines at all times.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors


Requirements

Qualifications / Requirements:

Previous warehouse experience is a plus but not required.

Required to meet performance standards and KPI

Basic computer or handheld device skills for inventory tracking.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.


Physical Requirements:

Lifting: Must be able to lift, carry, push, and pull up to 50 lbs frequently.

Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, twist, and stoop for extended periods (10 to 12 hour shifts).

Extensive walking is required throughout the duration of each shift.

Must be able to climb ladders and step stools to access higher shelving.

Manual dexterity to operate warehouse tools and equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, scanners).

Must be physically able to work in hot and cold environments.
