Job Description

The OLP Clinician provides Licensed Evaluation (Assessment), Treatment Planning, Psychotherapy (Counseling), and/or Crisis Intervention Activities (telephone triage, in person off-site, or complex care follow up) using individual, family or group modalities.  Services are delivered to children/youth including, but not limited to, children aged 0 – 5 who qualify by reason of a written recommendation by a LPHH for assessment or as a result of a determination of medical necessity made in such an assessment.  Assessment of needs may result in the recommendation of further medically necessary services.  The OLP Clinician works closely and collaboratively with other service providers whether or not these services are provided by KidsPeace.  Services are intended to correct a delay or resolve problems in developmental functioning and healthy relationships for children/youth with an existing diagnosis for whom flexible community based treatment is needed.

 

Licensed Psychoanalysts, Licensed Clinical Social Workers, Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists, Licensed Mental Health Counselors, Licensed Masters Social Workers when under the supervision of licensed clinical social workers (LCSWs), licensed psychologists, or psychiatrists.
