SUMMARY OF THE JOB:
The Treasury Management Sales Officer provides professional, consultative sales of Treasury Management solutions through the acquisition of new customers and deepening existing customer relationships. Through sales activities, enhance business/commercial/government relationships by providing highly specialized advice on all Treasury Management solutions.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Accountable for revenue growth, deposit generation, client calling and prospecting, responding to Request for Proposals, building and executing call plans and customer presentations
- Conduct professional, needs-based discovery conversations with business/commercial/government clients/prospects to identify Treasury Management opportunities
- Devise and implement calling strategy to meet call goals and sales goals
- A thorough understanding of industry-wide treasury management solutions
- Sales goals will be met by working with prospects and existing customers through in-person visits, phone calls and written communications, researching and building prospect lists, prospecting potential clients through Centers of Influence and other avenues
- Proactively engage with Commercial Relationship Managers and Branch Managers to develop Treasury Management leads and conduct joint calls
- Generate new commercial deposit relationships
- Enhance client retention
- Promote cross-bank collaboration providing referrals for other bank products & services
- Understand and communicate implementation timelines to align with customer expectations
- Respond to Request for Proposals
- Maintain and continuously refine extensive knowledge of Treasury Management industry products, services and pricing
Minimum knowledge/skills:
- 5+ years outside Treasury Management sales and relationship experience preferred
- Proven verbal/written communication and presentation skills
- Established critical/strategic thinking and problem resolution skills
- Demonstrated experience understanding business cash flow
- Certified Treasury Professional (CTP) or Certified Cash Manager (CCM) preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office at intermediate or higher level
