This position is part of our PRIME division, operating under the S&S Activewear parent company. PRIME plays a key role in delivering specialized solutions while aligning with the broader mission and values of S&S Activewear.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The Merchandising Admin role is responsible for creating and maintaining Hard Goods product and its data and assisting in day to day pre-launch process. The role supports, collects and maintains data across ERP System and Item/Compliance files. The role collaborates with various internal departments including Supply Chain (Purchasing and Compliance), Marketing, Production Operations and Sales.
COMPENSATION & SCHEDULE
Hourly (based on experience)
Monday - Friday (standard business hours) full-time, non-exempt
WHAT YOU WILL DO
- Setup/create and maintain products and data in NetSuite ERP Sysem
- Request New Product Development and New Vendor packages as requested by Sr. Merchandising Manager and Director of Merchandising
- Review and analyze new documents for accuracy, request revisions as needed, save and maintain item documents in item record on Sharepoint according to process and naming convention
- Assist and recommend process improvements to support company initiatives
- Assist in maintenance of line plan to reflect product development strategy as needed
- Assist Merchandising Coordinator with sampling process (request and receipt) for new product development
- Assist Merchandising Coordinator with new production test sample handoff including mockup imprint areas, labeling and loading data
- Responsible for handoff of approved new item PPS to photography, inspections, sample dept/tradeshow, engineering/fixturing as requested
- Communicate with team members, suppliers and cross-functional teams (Purchasing, Compliance, Decorations Operations/Master Data, Warehouse, Marketing, Sales and Customer Service) to resolve issues related to product data accuracy
- Assist with cross-functional teams new product launch rollout
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, required.
- Experience in NetSuite and ASANA a plus
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to multi-task and work in a fast-paced environment with strong sense of urgency
- Detail oriented
- Fast learner
- Hard Goods or Promotional Products industry experience a plus
