The Building Manager will be responsible for all operations at the Recreation Center, and the overall coordination, administration, implementation, and management of recreation programs and activities
In addition, the Manager must work in a manner that is consistent with the Mission of New Community Corporation.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Coordinates the day-to-day operations of the NCC Neighborhood Center; including booking events, ordering supplies and building maintenance.
- Assists with special events planning.
- Plans and coordinates after school, evening and summer recreation programs.
- Attends staff training and meetings as needed.
- Maintains a calendar for Director and the Neighborhood Center for Youth Services events.
- Light maintenance and janitorial of building.
Education Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Experience required
- At least 2 years’ experience working with elementary and middle school students in a school or community-based setting.
- At least 1 year experience in a supervisory capacity.
