  Position Summary

 The Resource Support – Dedicated Resources position will serve as a main point of contact for ODW’s dedicated carriers on day-to-day operational functions. Duties for this role may include planning, tendering, communicating, tracking, and managing capacity. This role will maintain communicate with ODW’s Operational Teams on carrier issues as they arise as well as work cross-functionally with the Brokerage Team to assist in relationship management.

 Essential Responsibilities                                        

  •    Oversee operational relationships with all dedicated carriers on specified teams, clients and/or carriers within the ODW organization
  •    Serve as the main point of contact for carriers’ dispatch/ops team and facilitate communication on loads flowing through ODW’s network
  •  Maintain effective communication with dedicated carriers regarding topics such as carrier assignments, rate confirmations, tracking and tracing, issue resolution, invoice resolution, etc.
  •   Collaborate with designated Account Managers to ensure carriers are meeting customer Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
  •   Partner with Dedicated Resource Managers to assess overall performance and scorecards and offer suggestions for improvements   
  •  Provide support in establishing new carrier profiles in the Transportation Management System (TMS) as needed
  •    All other duties as assigned

Education & Experience

·         High school or GED diploma required; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred

·         1 – 2 year(s) of experience in the logistics industry preferred

·         Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools preferred
