ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES for Cook include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Specific task list will be assigned.

Prepares a variety of meats, seafood, poultry, vegetables and other food items for cooking in broilers, ovens, grills, fryers and a variety of other kitchen equipment. Assumes 100% responsibility for quality of products served.
Knows and complies consistently with our standard portion sizes, cooking methods, quality standards and kitchen rules, policies and procedures.
Stocks and maintains sufficient levels of food products at line stations to assure a smooth service period.
Portions food products prior to cooking according to standard portion sizes and recipe specifications.
Maintains a clean and sanitary work station area including tables, shelves, grills, broilers, fryers, pasta cookers, sauté burners, convection oven, flat top range and refrigeration equipment.
Prepares item for broiling, grilling, frying, sautéing or other cooking methods by portioning, battering, breading, seasoning and/or marinating.
Follows proper plate presentation and garnish set up for all dishes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED for Cook :

High school diploma or general education degree (DEG); or 1- 3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience, required.
Culinary education, a plus.
Current ServSafe certification, high desired.
Ability to speak and comprehend English, required.
Must regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, occasionally lift and/or move above 50 pounds with the assistance from a co-worker and/or mechanical means.
Full vaccinated for COVID-19, strongly preferred.

Ideal candidate will be available to work nights and weekends. Preferred schedule will be Thursday - Monday. Friday + Saturday PM (11:30am - 8pm) and Thursday, Sunday, and Monday AM shift (6am - 2:30pm).

We offer a $250 sign-on bonus PLUS a $600 retention bonus after completing a successful 6 months of employment!
