Required Documents

Must be able to supervise employees including teaching staff. Must be able to work with parents and the community. Must have experience with student discipline and the development of effective procedures. Must be able to manage multiple task and follow protocols. Must be creative and willing to move the school toward a higher academic achievement status. Must have a passion to work with children.


Must submit Application, Resume, Proof of Credential, transcripts and letters of experience three years or more as Principal or Vice Principal at previous employment.

Job Description

Develop, Implement, and supervise a Tk-12 grade charter school. Must be creative, hard working, and excellent at molding and shaping teachers for success. Must enjoy working with at risk populations. Must be able to multi-task. Must teaching and administrative experience. Must be familiar with WASC accreditation, school wide accountability plans, and Title 1 programs. Must be able to innovate and increase test scores for a Program Improvement school.

Requirements / Qualifications

California Administrative Service Credential required, with 2 years experience as Principal.

Minimum Qualifications:

Any combination or equivalent to: Master’s Degree and three years of classroom
experience, or experience in pupil personnel services. Teaching experience is preferred.
Licenses and Other Requirements: Must have an Administrative Services Credential
Of current enrollment in an Administrative Services program. A clear teaching or Pupil
Personnel Credential.

Knowledge and Abilities:

• Ability to organize and coordinate pilot programs, goals and objectives.
• Knowledge of School Law Administration and mandated state laws.
• Knowledge of principles and practices of administration, supervision and training.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Knowledge of curriculum evaluation and computer operations.
• Knowledge of school climate and discipline.
• Ability to analyze situations and adopt a course of action.

Salary Info

$100,000- $140,000 Annually pro-rated

Enrollment of approximately 300 students within a small school setting. Bilingual preferred but not required
