- Measure products with calipers, gauges, micrometers, and other measurement equipment to customer blueprints
- Cross train in other complementary skills and seeks endorsements for those skills as needed to support production requirements
- Moves between production assignments that utilize multiple skills as needed to support production requirements
- Is a master of the use of metrology equipment, such as micrometers, calipers,
- Able to communicate with production personnel in order to explain discrepancies.

- Conduct welder qualification and certification of all welders on campus
Requirements
- Current Level II NDT Fluorescent Penetrant inspector certification preferred.
- Knowledge of AS 9100 and ISO 9001, Nadcap audit requirements a plus.
- Experience performing FPI for aerospace primes or subprime.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, communications skills, both written and oral.
- Five years’ quality inspector experience in a related field, including use of gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
- Excellent computer skills, specifically MS Word, Excel, and Outlook
- Flexibility around shifts, for training and to maintain workflow, to include overtime
- Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously
- CMM experience preferred
- Experience with statistical process control techniques (such as Six Sigma) preferred but not required
- Ability to read, understand, and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications (including and up to graphs, charts, schematics, blueprints)
- Knowledge in and ability to identify and interpret conditions on products that are the result of service operation

Summary
MAPP Technologies is seeking a Level II Fluorescent Penetrant Inspector (“FPI”) to test part(s) components for defects that could potentially cause a part(s) to fail during operation. Level I FPI processes parts, evaluates, interprets, and documents results, and performs verification checks on equipment. Level II FPI processes parts, evaluates and interprets and documents results, and performs verification checks on equipment. They also, perform non-destructive testing (“NDT”) on products using fluorescent penetrant inspection as required to conform to customer and/or national standards.
This position reports directly to the Quality Operations Manager
