Resumen Is responsible for identifying, evaluating, and developing suppliers to support the organization’s procurement strategy. This role ensures cost-effective sourcing, supplier performance, and compliance with company standards, while supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the supply chain. Responsabilidades Mains Responsibilities: Identify and develop new suppliers aligned with business needs and cost objectives. Evaluate supplier capabilities, quality, pricing, and delivery performance. Lead RFQs/RFPs processes and conduct cost analysis to support sourcing decisions. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms and conditions with suppliers. Maintain and strengthen relationships with strategic suppliers. Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations) to ensure alignment on sourcing strategies. Monitor supplier performance and implement corrective actions when needed. Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements. Support cost reduction and continuous improvement initiatives. Maintain accurate supplier records and documentation in systems (e.g., ERP/Workday). Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, Engineering, or related field. 2–4 years of experience in sourcing, procurement, or supply chain roles. Experience in manufacturing or maquiladora environment preferred. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar). Advanced Microsoft Excel skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Effective communication and interpersonal skills. Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (required). Preferred Skills: Experience in cost analysis and contract negotiation. Familiarity with global sourcing and supplier development. Knowledge of quality standards (ISO 9001 or similar).
