The Arc Mid-Hudson is pleased to offer internship opportunities for college students in a variety of departments across our large human services agency, including Ulster, Greene, Columbia and Putnam Counties!
We are happy to consider students who are seeking internships in the following majors/programs:
- Clinical Services (Psychology, Mental Health Counseling or Social Work)
- Music Therapy
- Special Education (at Brookside School)
- Human Services/Direct Support (in our residential group homes and/or day habilitation settings)
- Public Relations/Marketing
- Human Resources
- Accounting
- Information Technology
Although we are not always able to guarantee placements in the above areas, we are typically able to support internships during the summer months, as well as fall and spring semesters.
- Enrolled in a college degree program (for Associates, Bachelors or Masters)
- Strong communication (oral, writing and presentation) skills
- Professional presence and demeanor
- Recommendation from College Advisor/Representative
- Willingness to learn
