A Day in Your Life at MKS:
The Talent Development Manager for the APAC region will support the design, implementation, and execution of talent strategies aligned with the company’s global goals and regional business needs. This role will focus on talent development, performance management, and leadership development across diverse cultural and regulatory landscapes.
You Will Make an Impact By:
- Talent Strategy & Planning
- Develop and execute regional talent management strategies aligned with global Talent Management objectives.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to identify talent gaps and build robust succession pipelines.
- Performance Management
- Lead the regional implementation of performance management processes, ensuring consistency and cultural relevance.
- Provide training and support to managers on performance coaching and feedback.
- Leadership Development
- Design and deliver leadership development and personal effectiveness programs tailored to regional needs.
- Partner with HR Business Partners to identify competency gaps and suggest appropriate interventions.
- Generate regional learning reports from Workday.
- Employee Engagement & Retention
- Collaborate with HR Business Partners to drive employee engagement initiatives.
- Support employee engagement survey initiatives.
- Monitor retention trends and recommend strategies to enhance employee experience.
- Culture and Belonging
- In collaboration with Global Culture and Belonging, support initiatives by integrating inclusive practices into talent programs.
- Promote a culture of belonging across all regional locations.
- Data & Analytics
- Leverage talent analytics to measure program effectiveness and inform decision-making.
- Generate regular reports and insights for HR Business Partners and leadership, and Talent Management.
- Travel Requirements: Up to 25% of Travel is required.
Skills You Bring:
- Bachelor’s degree in human resources, or related field.
- 7+ years of experience in talent management and learning & development, preferably in a multinational environment.
- Strong understanding of cultural nuances across APAC.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing talent programs.
- Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Workday
Preferred Skills:
- Experience working in a matrixed, global organization.
- Certification in psychometric assessments (DiSC, Hogan, etc.), and/or leadership development tools.
