Duties
You will serve as a CYBER PLANNING SPECIALIST in the INTELLIGENCE DIVISION, JOINT FORCES HEADQUARTERS-CYBER, CYBERSPACE OPERATIONS-INTEGRATED PLANNING ELEMENT of the U.S. FLEET CYBER COMMAND.,You will be responsible for spearheading the utilization of intelligence processes, products and capabilities supporting the development of cyber operations plans.,You will coordinate with cyber operations planners to identify, validate and levy requirements of intelligence collection and analysis.,You will lead targeting selection, validation, and synchronization for the planning of joint operations.,You will provide subject matter expertise for assessments regarding the use of intelligence to ensure an operationally responsive planning process.,You will generate comprehensive analytical assessments, including data visualization, to measure the effectiveness of intelligence products and processes regarding desired cyber effects and operational outcomes.,You will present findings of these assessments to further refine cyber intelligence planning requirements and improve overall quality of operational planning processes.
Qualifications
Applicant must have directly applicable experience that demonstrates the possession of knowledge, skills, abilities, and competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Qualifying experience may have been acquired in any public or private sector job, but will clearly demonstrate past experience in the application of the particular competencies or knowledge, skills and abilities necessary to successfully perform the duties of the position. Such experience is typically in or directly related to the work of the position to be filled. Qualifying experience would be demonstrated by: -Experience analyzing intelligence requirements for near term and long-range planning based on target selection and operational objectives. -Experience recommending targets and intelligence actions to support cyber operation objectives. -Experience applying advanced cyber intelligence concepts and knowledge of cyber threats impacting information networks to facilitate planning of full spectrum cyber operations. -Experience identifying gaps and shortfalls regarding intelligence utilization in the cyber planning process. This position is within the Work Category PROFESSIONAL at Work Level SENIOR, Series and Grade GG-0301-13.
