Position: Summer Occupational Therapist (OT)
Location: Johnson Elementary School, Nahant, MA
Schedule: Part-Time, Wednesdays | 8:30 AM – 11:30 AM
Program Dates: July 13-August 6, 2026




Position Summary


Johnson Elementary School in Nahant is seeking a qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to support students in our summer program. The Occupational Therapist will be responsible for delivering all occupational therapy services in accordance with students’ Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), as well as completing all required documentation and reports.




Responsibilities



  • Provide direct occupational therapy services to students as outlined in IEPs

  • Develop and implement individualized therapy plans to support student access to learning

  • Maintain accurate and timely service logs, progress notes, and reports

  • Complete all required documentation in compliance with district, state, and federal regulations

  • Collaborate with special education staff, related service providers, and administration

  • Participate in team meetings as needed




Qualifications



  • Current Massachusetts licensure as an Occupational Therapist

  • Experience in a school-based setting preferred

  • Knowledge of IEP processes and special education regulations

  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work both independently and collaboratively
