Physician for Urgent Care Medicine – Orange County, CA


Position: Full-time Physician

Location: Orange County

Model: 1099 with Malpractice and Tail Coverage

Schedule: Full-time or Part-time


Accelerated Urgent Care is looking for a full-time physician to practice Urgent Care Medicine at our Laguna Hills, CA location. We currently have 18 clinics located across Southern California and Central California to serve all your urgent care needs. Additionally, we have been voted “Best Urgent Care” in Kern County for 8 consecutive years, and we continue to grow our clinic locations throughout Central and Southern California. Our mission is to expand our healthcare reach to all the people within the communities that we serve and provide them with the best healthcare possible. Providers are our top asset, and exceptional healthcare is our top priority. 


Practice Details:

· Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine - Board Eligible (Recent graduates from a formal Residency Program) or Board-Certified

· Urgent Care Medicine practicing twelve-hour (12) shifts with a 1-hour break

· Full-time will be 12 shifts per month and 2 on-call shifts per month – 14 shifts total

· Treat 4 patients per hour from newborns to geriatrics (full spectrum care) 

· Bread & Butter Procedures: I&Ds, Toenail Removal, and Laceration Repair

· Equipment: In-house Point-of-Care testing, X-ray, and EKG

· X-rays are read by a Board-Certified Radiologist 

· Easy-to-use EMR with Dragon dictation


Qualifications:

· Medical Degree (M.D. or D.O)

· Completion of a formal Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine Residency Training Program

· Truly Board-Eligible or Board Certified

· CA Medical License that is active and in good standing

· DEA Certificate
