Charge Nurse - LPN or RN

Job Summary:

Saunders Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, a leading healthcare provider in Penn Wynne, Pennsylvania, is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Charge Nurse to join our team. As a Charge Nurse, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the daily operations of our skilled nursing facility, ensuring the highest quality of care for our residents. Charge Nurse Responsibilities:

• Oversee the daily operations of the nursing unit, including delegating tasks and responsibilities to CNAs
• Provide direct patient care, as needed, and ensure that residents receive individualized attention and care
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and implement individualized care plans
• Conduct clinical assessments, monitor resident conditions, and make adjustments to care plans as necessary
• Maintain accurate and detailed records of patient care and treatment
• Supervise and mentor staff, providing guidance and support as needed
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of policies and procedures

Charge Nurse Requirements:

• Graduation from an accredited school of nursing (LPN or RN)
• Current licensure to practice as an LPN or RN in the state of Pennsylvania
• Prior experience as a nurse (new graduates welcome to apply!)
• Strong clinical skills and ability to work independently
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations
