GENERAL PURPOSE: Responsible for developing store space plans used to purchase, bid, and execute projects using prototype directives. A store project includes new stores, remodels, rollouts and special projects, as assigned. A Store Planner is expected to interpret data to optimize layouts which fit the needs of business partners, store operational requirements, and applicable building codes. Designing stores may include travel to execute site surveys and walk throughs. The base salary range for this role is $70,310 – $101,400. The base salary range is dependent on factors including, but not limited to, experience, skills, qualifications, relevant education, certifications, seniority, and location. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package for employees. Other rewards vary by position and location. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: • Creation of all contract documents needed to execute a store project. These documents include fixture plans, floor plans, reflected ceiling plans, merchandise plans, and any other documents that helps to describe the intent of our store design. A store project includes new stores, remodels, refresh, special projects, rollouts and other ad-hoc projects. COMPETENCIES: • Functional/Technical Skills QUALIFICATIONS AND SPECIAL SKILLS REQUIRED: • 4-year accredited degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Industrial Design, or related field; or equivalent experience in space planning PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/ADA: Job requires ability to work in an office environment, primarily on a computer.
