Summary:
The Meetings & Events Summer Intern will report to the Manager, Meetings & Events and support the coordination of Vericel’s internal and external events. This role is designed for a rising senior or recent graduate interested in gaining hands-on experience in corporate event planning within a fast-paced, cross-functional environment.
The intern will assist with the execution of meetings, trainings, and conferences, supporting both large-scale events and smaller internal programs. This role will contribute to seamless execution, operational efficiency, and alignment across teams.
Schedule: This summer internship runs from June 1 to August 14, 2026. The role is based onsite Monday through Thursday at our new Burlington, MA location, with the flexibility to work remotely on Fridays.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with coordination of Vericel’s participation in national and regional events supporting Sports Medicine and Burn Care franchises
- Support planning and execution of internal and external meetings, including food & beverage, audio/visual, travel, and accommodations
- Assist with logistics for internal trainings, sales meetings, and office events
- Partner with Training and Sales Operations to support in-person training coordination
- Help maintain and track event calendars and logistics in collaboration with internal stakeholders and external vendors
- Support coordination of professional (KOL) and advocacy-related events
- Assist with on-site event execution as needed
- Help track event metrics and support reporting efforts
Basic Qualifications
- Rising senior currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or related field (or recent graduate with relevant interest/experience)
- Must reside within 20 miles of Burlington, MA
- Must have reliable transportation to support local errands (e.g., vendor visits, supply pick-up)
- Ability to lift and carry materials up to 30lbs as needed for event setup and execution
- Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
- High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Interest in event planning, operations, or marketing
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous internship or campus experience related to events, marketing, or coordination
- Proactive, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Strong teamwork and collaboration skills

The salary range Vericel reasonably and in good faith expects to pay for this position at the time of this posting is $23.00 an hour.
The actual salary offered will be determined based on factors such as the candidate’s qualifications, experience, and skills. Bonus, incentive pay, equity and benefits may be provided in addition to the base compensation listed above.
