Position Overview:

The Safety Technician monitors the project site to ensure construction project safety. The Safety Technician is a salaried position at an industry-leading construction company.

 Responsibilities:

  • Analyzing the safety performance of work performed
  • Understanding laws and regulations pertaining to OSHA
  • Conducting job inspections of construction areas
  • Identifying, documenting, and recommending resolution of hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions
  • Confirming corrections have been made to hazardous and potentially hazardous conditions.
  • Investigating property damage and personal injury accidents
  • Assisting in conducting employee and insurance inspections
  • Assisting in emergency rescues as required
  • Assisting in maintaining fire protection and grounding systems
  • Compiling data, photographs, pertinent forms, and reports, as well as conducting employee interviews associated with accidents.
  • Conducting industrial hygiene samples to ensure safe working conditions.
  • Other duties as assigned.
