    Position Overview:
    The Croton-Harmon Athletics Department is seeking a qualified and enthusiastic JV Boys Volleyball Head Coach for the upcoming Fall 2026 season. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong leadership, effective communication skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, development-focused environment for student-athletes.
     
    Reports to: Director of Health, Wellness, Physical Education and Athletics
    Stipend: $4,878 for the Fall 2026 Athletic Season as outlined by Section 1  
    Responsibilities include:
    • Planning and leading all practices, contests, and team activities.
    • Teaching fundamental baseball skills, strategy, and sportsmanship.
    • Overseeing the safety and supervision of all student-athletes.
    • Collaborating with the Varsity Baseball Head Coach to support program alignment and athlete development.
    • Communicating regularly with athletes, families, and the athletic department.
    • Ensuring compliance with all CHUFSD, Section 1, and NYSPHSAA policies.
     
    Requirements:
    • Prior playing or coaching experience in volleyball preferred.
    • NYS coaching certification or ability to obtain required credentials.
    • Current First Aid/CPR/AED certifications (or willingness to complete prior to season).
