Our established company is seeking a Weed Control and Fertilization Technician to join our team. As a technician, you will be responsible for maintaining and enhancing the health and appearance of our clients' lawns and landscapes.

Responsibilities:

• Implement weed control treatments using appropriate methods, including herbicide application, hand-weeding, or mechanical removal.
• Apply fertilizers and soil amendments to promote healthy growth and improve overall lawn and turf health.
• Monitor for pests and diseases and take necessary action to control or mitigate their impact on the landscape.
• Perform routine lawn care and maintenance tasks for a weed control and fertilization treatments.
• Maintain a professional appearance and wear the company uniform while on duty.
• Interact with clients in a courteous and knowledgeable manner, addressing their inquiries, concerns, and providing expert advice on lawn care practices.
• Operate and maintain equipment, such as sprayers and spreaders, ensuring they are in good working condition.
• Adhere to safety guidelines and regulations when handling chemicals, equipment, and working in various weather conditions.
• Follow all applicable laws and regulations regarding the use of pesticides and fertilizers.

Qualifications:

• Previous experience in weed control, fertilization, or lawn care is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of different types of weeds, fertilizers, and lawn care practices.
• Ability to operate and maintain relevant equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Willingness to learn new skills.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Physical fitness and the ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Drug free workplace/drug testing
• Valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
• Ability to lift 50lbs.
