ROLE SUMMARY
The Operations Associate is a key member of the school’s operations team, handling a wide variety of non-instructional tasks for the school. As a representative of the school, the Operations Associate welcomes and assists callers, guests and visitors—providing accurate information and delivering excellent service. In order to be effective, Operations Associates must develop positive interpersonal relationships with the entire school community, including staff, scholars, families, and visitors. Responsibilities vary from day to day and may include data entry and maintenance in a wide variety of school information systems, keeping accurate school records, handling correspondence, and supporting a variety of diverse projects.
 
ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Receive calls and walk-in inquiries, provide information, make referrals, and direct guests to proper destinations.

  • Process data entry and maintenance related to attendance, enrollment, nutrition, and other programs.

  • Complete sales and write receipts for incoming funds (uniform sales, food services, fundraisers, etc.).

  • Provide supervision of scholars during passing periods, lunches, or as needed.

  • Maintain accurate and orderly confidential records, both online and in physical copies.

  • Prepare, receive, send, and maintain records and correspondence as needed.

  • Support with the execution of school community events and initiatives.

  • Communicate with families and external partners as needed.

  • Perform additional related duties as assigned.

  • Relationship-Building: Have strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills with both children and adults.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

  • A high school diploma or the equivalent

  • Preferred: Associate’s Degree or higher from an accredited college or university

  • Preferred: Spanish fluency
