The professional is responsible for overseeing the company�s Environmental, Health and Safety (EHS) systems, tools and processes to ensure compliance, efficiency and continuous improvement. This role manages all EHS software platforms, consolidates KPIs, analyzes data trends, and generates reports to support strategic decision making. Additionally, the position leads the corporate EHS training program, manages EHS documentation and procedures, and conducts audits across company sites. The role also provides direct EHS support for office locations in New York and New Jersey, ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and corporate standards.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Administer and maintain corporate EHS tools, systems and software. Ensure data integrity and functionality of the platforms.
- Develop improvements to EHS processes and reporting systems.
- Consolidate EHS KPIs across the organization. Perform data trending and generate reports for leadership review.
- Oversee the company-wide EHS Training Program. Ensure Compliance with regulatory and corporate training requirements. Track EHS training completion metrics.
- Manage and maintain corporate EHS documentation, policies and procedures. Coordinate updates and revisions accordingly.
- Conduct EHS audits at sites to verify compliance with corporate standards. Support sites on corrective action plans.
- Provide EHS support to New Jersey and New York office locations: Risk Assessments, Safe work procedures, Near-Misses and incidents investigations. Coordinate Emergency Response Plans, Drills and awareness campaigns. Manage Contractors and ensure OSHA compliance. Deliver trainings and awareness sessions to office and R&D employees. Apply Corporate EHS Standards, and ensure local regulation compliance.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor�s or Master�s degree in an EH&S related Science or Engineering field. Advanced degree or professional certifications are required.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in occupational safety.
- Experienced in managing EHS software platforms, documentation control and data analytics.
- Excellent analytical, organizational, and project management skills.
- Good communication and training delivery capabilities.
- Deep knowledge of safety regulations, word class standards and best practices.
- Strong auditing and incidents investigation skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively across multiple sites and functions
The expected hourly range for this role is between $45-$55 per hour.
