Full-Time Direct Support Professional (DSP) - Front-End Nights
Garner, IA
12-Hour Shifts | Saturday Night - Tuesday Morning
36 Hours/Week | Earn $714 Weekly

We are currently hiring Full-Time DSPs for our Front-End Nights schedule, working three consecutive 12-hour shifts: Saturday, Sunday, and Monday nights in our Garner homes.


What You'll Do

  • Support individuals with daily living activities, including housekeeping, laundry, meal preparation, personal hygiene, and medication self-administration
  • Learn and support each individual's unique abilities, preferences, and personal goals through a person-centered approach
  • Encourage community involvement by transporting individuals to appointments, activities, and errands such as grocery shopping
  • Assist with financial-related tasks as appropriate
  • Complete, accurate, and timely documentation, including service notes and healthcare-related records in compliance with regulatory standards

What You Bring

  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail in documentation
  • Ability to safely respond to behaviors using Mandt procedures in accordance with One Vision policies
  • Basic computer skills for electronic documentation
  • Ability to hear and respond to environmental and individual needs

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Valid driver's license and proof of vehicle insurance
  • Ability to perform physical tasks, including bending, kneeling, stooping, and lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally
  • Successful completion of pre-employment background check and health screenings
  • Completion of required training and certifications
  • This is a safety-sensitive position and requires strict adherence to safety protocols, particularly when supporting individuals, administering medications, and operating a motor vehicle

No prior experience is required; paid training is provided.
