Description: Assignment for a daily building substitute teacher is available at the Middle School of Plainville grades 6, 7, and 8. Substitute teachers must be able to follow instructions and lesson plans left by the teacher. As a substitute teacher you must be able to work with a variety of students including those with special education needs. Excellent communication skills are required. Substitute teachers must be reliable and have a positive attitude. Building substitutes are utilized across various grades, departments and classes and must be versatile and flexible. Substitute compensation rate is $125.00 per day and $150.00 per day if applicant is certified. Batchelors degree required.
